Preparation instruction

1
I would like to send out a thank you to Brad of Louisville Kentucky for submitting this wonderful traditional mai tai cocktail recipe.
2
To get started, take out a large chilled highball drink glass. Add into the glass the pineapple juice, creme de almond liqueur, triple sec liqueur, light rum, dark rum, sweet and sour mix, and crushed ice.
3
Leave the drink unstirred. Lastly, wrap the chilled glass with a fabric napkin, and sip it slowly through a drink straw.
4
The traditional mai tai shouldn't be stirred, however you can mix up the drink if you prefer it's flavors blended together.
5
You obviously don't have to use the exact brand of ingredients that we have chosen, alternative brands will work fine as well.
6
Keep in mind that this is a very strong cocktail, so be sure to have a designated driver, as just one mai tai will raise your alcohol level over the legal limit within the United States.
