Obviously pineapple juice isn't only available in a can, you can find it quite often in a carton or bottle. It is however more often than not packaged in a can, and this is due to the manufacturing process. Most packaged pineapple comes available in a can, and most of the pineapple juice comes from those same manufacturing plants. So generally speaking their manufacturing lines are two fold, one for the canning of sliced pineapple or pineapple chunks, and the other for the canning of pineapple juice.
